There’s news about AI – and it’s truly awesome! Our research tool Ardi achieved an excellent second place at the very first Microsoft AI Award for agency partners.
It all starts with a well-defined situation: when we have a question, search engines have the answer. But in many cases, we don’t really know what our question is. This applies to both our project work and our research activities and it is also true for search queries. To put it in a nutshell: We don’t need a search engine. We rather need a research engine.
Against this backdrop, the Microsoft AI Award came right on cue. It was exclusively open for agency partners who have the depth of expertise in the field of AI. Thus, we could make the most appropriate use of our prior knowledge. Swiftly, we set up Ardi, a research tool based on Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services. Instead of a simple, linear search, Ardi runs through the web, going into every possible direction. It gathers, suggests, clusters and summarizes content into categories while extracting the core information into abstracts. The suitable abstract can be inserted via drag and drop into one’s own research document.
Reduced research loops, faster information processing, progressive insight discovery – and an honorable award ranking, briefly: a win-win-situation for all of us. Ardi is just how we imagined it to be.
