With a history spanning over 90 years, ARAG is the leading global legal insurer undergoing a period of transition. The strategic agenda, 'ARAG 5→30', sets out new objectives relating to digitalisation, growth, and customer-centricity. A new design was required to reflect this transformation and guide the company into the digital future. The new brand identity focuses on people – visually, functionally and strategically. Inspired by the iconic logo, rounded shapes and a custom typeface by Grilli Type establish a distinctive, human tone. The system builds on ARAG’s DNA, making legal protection more accessible and emotionally resonant. In close collaboration, we developed a scalable, flexible design system. Strategic formats such as vision labs helped to align internal and external needs. The new identity is being rolled out across all touchpoints and paves the way for a cultural and digital transformation.
