The 2021 Red Dot Awards are decided: denkwerk wins a total of nine of the coveted awards in the Brands & Communication Design category - including a "Best of the Best"!

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the largest design competitions in the world. In 2021, designers, agencies, and companies from all over the world submitted creative projects and brands for the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design. From Europe to Asia to America - big players and newcomers alike used the platform to evaluate and thus confirm their design achievements. Following the theme "In search of good design and creativity", the 24 international jurors examined each submission professionally, individually and comprehensively. In doing so, they placed particular emphasis on the creative idea, design execution, and communicative impact. Only those projects that convinced the experts with their outstanding design quality were awarded prizes.

The Red Dot: Best of the Best goes to projects that stand out with excellent design quality and creative performance. We are particularly pleased with the award for whyarewecreative.com, since it is already at the core of creativity: For 30 years, Hermann Vaske has been asking people all over the world: "Why are you creative?" And also questioning what prevents us from being creative. The website now collects the answers and interviews of Marina Abramović, Björk, David Bowie, T.C. Boyle, William Dafoe, David Lynch, George R. R. Martin, Sean Penn, Pussy Riot, Julian Schnabel and many more. It's worth a visit! The "Best of the Best" was awarded in the Digital Solutions section (Website Converts & Events). The website also received two Red Dot Awards in the categories Online (Website - Microsites) and Interface & User Experience Design (Website: Screen Design).
