denkwerk

denkwerk wanted to know: How satisfied are our employees in Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich? And what is the best way to find out? In cooperation with the international research and consulting institute Great Place to Work®, we conducted an employee survey – like we did the year before.

Of the 250 denkwerkers invited, 180 colleagues assessed their job satisfaction on the basis of an anonymous questionnaire. The results are impressive. Because now it is official: denkwerk is a "Great Place to Work"! What does that mean exactly? denkwerk was certified as an attractive employer by the many positive evaluations.

How does a company become a Great Place to Work®?

denkwerk was certified as an attractive employer thanks to the many positive reviews. The Great Place to Work® award is only given to companies that achieve an overall positive rating of at least 65 percent in their job satisfaction survey.

Our score is 74 percent. By comparison, many employers in the "information and communication sector" category scored an average of just 69 %. In addition, 76 percent think that denkwerk is a very good place to work.

Awards in branch and regional competition

On the ninth of march 2023 denkwerk was honored by a live jury at the "Awarding of Champions 2023". The event focused on the companies that had achieved particularly good results in their employee surveys in 2022.

The facts – What our colleagues appreciate about denkwerk

  • 90 % Equality – regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender or origin.

  • 87 % Evaluation of the direct manager – 87 % of managers are rated as competent.

  • 94 % Welcome feeling – for new and experienced employees part of the daily togetherness.

  • 85 % Professional development – We achieved a score of 85% in the area of professional development. We have also improved here compared to last year.

Every voice counts at denkwerk

In the survey, there were not only prefabricated questions with fixed answer options. The survey also offered room for free responses, so that individual team members could also have their say.

In addition to free beer and our office dog Anton, we particularly appreciated the cohesion among our employees in the workplace.

"Here we live: You learn from mistakes. The team feeling and being able to be yourself and not having to pretend in any situation."

At denkwerk, we are open to change and the working atmosphere is exceptionally positive. Or very briefly and succinctly:

"Thank you for everything ♥︎ I feel very comfortable here!"

denkwerk values from the employees' point of view

Finally, we present values that were mentioned in the open part of the survey. Among other things, our colleagues see denkwerk as a good and transparent employer and focus on the following attributes from the open part of the survey:

Creativity, openness, fairness, team spirit and trust

What do we learn from this?

Receiving the Great Place to Work® award was and is a reason for us to celebrate. But we don't want to rest on our laurels. That's precisely why denkwerk will continue to be a place that is open to change and suggestions. The survey has shown us many great points of view and confirmed our assessment. Our development and optimization potentials have also become more visible. We have these points on our (digital) notepad. We will tackle them successively. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their open and honest feedback. Together, we are working on improving our score even further. ☻
