Global focus on usability: denkwerk organizes the 20th World Usability Day

We are proud to once again host World Usability Day 2024 at denkwerk Cologne. This event is dedicated to promoting usability in all aspects of life. This year's theme is “Designing for a better world”. All presentations and the workshop will take place at our Cologne headquarters.

The aim of the World Usability Day is to bring together experts, industry, users, education and authorities to exchange ideas for more user-friendly services and simple digital applications.

This year's theme “Designing for a better world” can be seen in many ways: architects and urban planners are creating accessible public spaces, companies are focusing on environmentally friendly packaging, software developers are emphasizing inclusive digital design, civic engagement platforms are promoting citizen participation, sustainable transport solutions are focusing on pedestrians and cyclists, educational materials are designed to be inclusive and green architecture is focusing on energy efficiency and the well-being of residents. All of these efforts contribute to a more accessible and environmentally conscious world.
