Motel One offers affordable budget hotels with stylish designs at central locations. The hotel chain stands for high-quality design at a reasonable price, topped off with individual flair. The company also believes every guest should be able to experience this, including on its website. Since we became partners in 2016, we – together with Motel One – have created a website, booking process, and careers page in keeping with this belief and, recently, made one-click bookings a reality.
Guests have the option of signing up for the free beOne membership program offered by Motel One, which gives beOne members various benefits. After completing one-time registration, members can book rooms more quickly and manage their reservations more easily. To make the booking process appreciably shorter for guests, we developed the One Click Book function.
The One Click Book Function is a feature where simplicity for the user meets advanced backed logic. In Short: Click, Check, Confirm.
Single or double, with or without breakfast, and how to pay – we had to define individually what would go into the guests’ bookings based on the guests’ preferences and the hotel locations and availability. We developed a technological concept that covers this conceptual and technical complexity and compacts it down to a four-step booking process.
The feature automates various components of the Internet booking engine so that bookings can be made with a single click and, equally importantly, with a single API request. Once signed in with their booking preferences saved, beOne members can book rooms quickly and easily with a single click of the mouse.
